The Harrold Calvados Society was set up to revive the art of cider making in the area of Harrold, North Bedfordshire, in England. Our year is usually a full one both socially and production wise with a number of now regular events taking place. Some of the cider has even been drinkable!
We try to make each pressing a family event, so we usually incorporate a barbecue, some drinks, music and somewhere for the kids to run around. We are also pleased to have been able to raise and donate some money to local charities.
Please browse the site using the links above, and please feel free to contact us if you have even a passing interest in anything apple-like or alcoholic.
Totus in bonus vicis
Our Lambasted BlueSpot Cider is now available to buy, without having to wait for a special event! Give it a try and let us know what you think.
Our Gear and Facilities are vital to the society. Without them there would be a lot of consumption but not much production.
